Getting a gun and killing a monster is only one way that hunters react to the fight. Inherently, it is how avengers work. that leaves SIX other reactions to the hunt.
Six other ways of tackling the same problem. Six other stories. Now i appreciate a good ol' gunfight, but that doesn't change the fact that the better stories deal with (dare i say it?) more mundane topics.
Side note, if you played a session of vampire where all you did was drink blood, how long would you play that game?
Some stories I'd love to see. An imbued lawyer. An imbued politician. School teacher. people changing the world by NOT shooting.
: This point was raised by Arthur Schopenhauer on the list so I thought it might be better putting it here. Considering that the main aim of Hunter is to portray normal people having to face up to the supernatural, do combat-orientated characters and posts suit this? Is it more interesting to see posts about finding weapons and killing monsters?
