I picked up the torador book 3rd ED the other day thinking of playing a Torador. I was going thru it and found they are the first to really say the Hunters are real and talk about a story of how an 8th gen Torry had a pet hunter she gave blood too and used presence on every day and he was deeply madly in love with the vampire.
One day she was meeting with the ghoul of another clan and she told her "pet hunter" to keep watch. One of the Torry's childer was on the scene using aspex.
When the ghoul walked in the hunter looked shook his head picked up a candle stick and hit his Master with it. Killing her and started to glow with a gold aura.
